Mallory Stevens, Ph.D., Postdoctoral Resident

Mallory Stevens is a postdoctoral resident at Solutions after receiving her Ph.D. in school psychology in May 2023. She completed our yearly psychology internship in July 2023. She received her Bachelors and Masters degrees in psychology from the University of Missouri. Prior to joining the Solutions team, Mallory worked in schools for 5 years and worked closely with students from diverse grade levels, backgrounds, and disabilities. Her training in school psychology has emphasized the impact systems have on individuals’ day-today living and satisfaction, which is a perspective she embeds in her practice. She received 3 years of specialized training at the Thompson Center for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders, where she worked closely with children with autism, their families and multidisciplinary teams. Mallory has obtained in-depth clinical training on the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule-2, and has achieved research reliability on modules. Mallory’s work is driven by her values of client-centered care, relationships, data-based decision making, and collaborative problem-solving. She views clients as an essential member of clinical assessment and therapy teams, and values participatory work. Mallory has a passion for working with youth and their families, particularly in the areas of autism, ADHD, behavioral support, and anxiety. She currently serves on the International Society for Autism Research (INSAR) student and trainee committee, and is a member of the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP). In her career, she hopes to develop a collaborative service model that would allow medical, clinical, and school based stakeholders to provide high-quality care to clients and their families.
