Misty Wright, M.S., LPC (ND)

Misty Wright obtained her M.S. in Counseling from Minnesota State University in Moorhead in 2007, having completed her internship at Solutions, where she provided individual and group therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, conducted diagnostic assessments, provided in-home counseling and skills training, as well as case management services. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in North Dakota, and is currently pursuing licensure as a Professional Clinical Counselor. Misty obtained a graduate Certificate in Psychiatric Vocational Rehabilitation from University of Maryland in 2011. She has 15 years experience working in vocational rehabilitation counseling, assisting people with disabilities obtain and maintain employment, providing career counseling, assisting clients in coping with disability and requesting accommodations for them. Misty has training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). She is currently in training for Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, and is soon to be trained in Prolonged Exposure and Trauma-Focused CBT.

Misty is a member of the American Counseling Association. She enjoys working with families, adolescents, adults, and individuals with disabilities. She finds it meaningful to assist her clients in their journey of human growth and development. Misty values genuineness, caring, and cultural awareness.
