She loves working with children and adolescents along with their families to help them find ways to navigate the challenges of life, to help them learn tools to support them throughout their lives. She has a passion for working with women and couples experiencing pregnancy/infant loss, post partum or perinatal depression and anxiety. She finds it humbling and honoring to be able to partner with clients and be allowed into the life challenges and joys they experience. She views it as a privilege to walk alongside them as they process, learn and grow. She wants her clients to feel ownership of the work they do, and feel empowered. She wants clients to feel safe and comfortable with her in therapy, and to provide them with a warm, welcoming and judgement free space to process the challenges of life.

In her spare time, Ms. Mayer enjoys volunteering at her church with children’s ministries, and she enjoys cooking and traveling, as well.
