Jenelle Walerius, lbsw, lgsw

Jenelle Walerius received both of her Bachelor of Social Work with an emphasis in child welfare and Master of Social Work with an emphasis in clinical multicultural studies at Minnesota State University Moorhead.

For seven years, Jenelle dedicated her professional life to serving families and children as a licensed social worker in North Dakota. Her passion for helping others led her to work closely with families facing various challenges, from parenting struggles to economic hardships. She collaborated with community resources, schools, and local agencies to provide essential support, counseling, and advocacy.

Jenelle is trained in Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Her area of specialty is applying Strengths-Based theory, which encourages individuals to see themselves at their best, capitalizing on their strengths, and viewing those strengths as resourceful and resilient even in adverse conditions.

She is a part of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and Cass Clay Unified School Response Group. Jenelle served in the United States Military and she is an Air Force Veteran.

She finds immense joy in working with children and youth. She believes their resilience and hopefulness inspires her every day. Jenelle also believes that every family deserves compassionate care and a chance to thrive.
