Erin Stephany, M.A., BCBA, LBA

Erin earned her bachelor’s degree in Speech Language and Hearing Sciences from Minnesota State University Moorhead and completed her master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism at The Sage Colleges in 2016. She became a licensed Behavior Analyst in Minnesota and North Dakota in 2017.

Erin brings extensive experience from clinic-based settings—both in person and via telehealth—as well as years of collaboration with school districts across Minnesota and North Dakota. Her practice includes a wide range of evidence-based interventions such as antecedent-based strategies, differential reinforcement, discrete trial training, functional behavior assessments, naturalistic interventions, and visual supports.

Her areas of expertise include potty training, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), behavior reduction strategies, skill acquisition programming, caregiver and family training, social skills development, and school-based consultation. Erin is passionate about helping young children build strong communication repertoires and foundational skills for successful integration into school, while also supporting teens in developing confident social skills.

Erin finds her work most meaningful when she witnesses real progress—whether it’s a new communication skill, increased independence, or a moment of connection that wasn’t possible before. She prioritizes compassion, patience, and genuine connection, meeting each child where they are and honoring their unique strengths. Guided by ethical, evidence-based practices and cultural humility, Erin values collaboration and family-centered care, ensuring interventions are effective, respectful, and empowering for both children and their families.
