Audrie Burge-Meyer, Psychology Intern

Audrie Burge-Meyer is a doctoral psychology intern at Solutions Behavioral Healthcare Professionals, completing her training as part of the Counseling Psychology program at the University of St. Thomas (MN). She has experience providing services to individuals across the lifespan and in college counseling, community mental health, and group practice settings. Audrie works with clients experiencing challenges such as depression, anxiety, grief/loss, trauma, and life transitions, with a special interest in providing services to rural populations. She welcomes clients who identify as LGBTQIA+ or who are exploring their gender or sexuality.

Audrie prioritizes creating a comforting, nonjudgmental space for clients to be vulnerable and feel supported while working toward their goals. Her clinical approach is grounded in person-centered care and relational-cultural therapy, with the inclusion of evidence-based treatments collaboratively customized to each client’s unique identities. She believes growth is fostered by trusting, attentive, and genuine connections between client and therapist.

In addition to her clinical work, Audrie has training in trauma-informed care, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and mindfulness approaches. She emphasizes a strengths-focused approach to diagnostic assessment and psychological evaluation. Audrie maintains an ongoing commitment to cultural responsiveness and respect for each person’s cultural, social, and individual identities.

Outside of work, Audrie enjoys spending time outside, reading, yoga, and embroidery. While at home, she can often be found with a cup of coffee and one of her two cats lounging on her lap.
