Ashley Mohn, LICSW

Ashley Mohn is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Minnesota with a strong background in both education and mental health. She holds bachelor’s degrees in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education from Minnesota State University Moorhead (2006, 2008), and earned her Master of Social Work from Augsburg University in 2017, where she completed a multicultural-focused program.

Her clinical training includes internships at OutFront MN, supporting LGBTQ+ survivors of violence, and at Hopkins North Junior High School, where she worked with students in special education, addressed truancy concerns, and helped families with housing instability. She also successfully secured a grant to bring Latino Youth Leadership programming to the school.

Before joining Solutions, Ashley spent a decade teaching children from infancy through sixth grade. Her social work career has included roles as a school social worker, youth specialist for exploited and trafficked youth, and psychotherapist in a clinical setting.

Ashley specializes in working with children, adolescents, and adults up to age 40, and has a particular passion for leading LGBTQ+ groups in school settings. She finds deep meaning in providing a safe space for clients to open up, learn, and grow. Her work is guided by values of empathy, validation, equity, authenticity, and collaboration.

Outside of her clinical role, Ashley serves on the Frazee-Vergas Public Schools Board. She is an animal lover, a fan of the color purple, and proudly competing for the title of “best auntie” to her nieces and nephew.
