Alex Hendrickx, M.A., Clinical Trainee

Ms. Hendrickx earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Minnesota State University Moorhead in the spring of 2024, followed by her Master’s degree in Social Work in the spring of 2025. She brings experience as an EIDBI provider supporting neurodivergent children, as well as delivering cognitive behavioral therapy to adolescents in an inpatient setting. She has also co-led dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) groups and frequently integrates DBT-informed strategies into her practice. DBT is an evidence-based approach that benefits individuals navigating emotional dysregulation, interpersonal difficulties, and impulsivity.

As a clinical trainee, Ms. Hendrickx is enthusiastic about working with a wide range of populations. Her clinical interests include couples and family therapy, depression, anxiety, trauma, and personality disorders. She prioritizes a strengths-based and non-judgmental approach, creating a welcoming therapeutic environment tailored to each client’s unique needs.

Outside of her professional work, Ms. Hendrickx enjoys crafting, gardening, reading, long walks with friends, and watching documentaries—especially those on Netflix.
